Hard water spots
I bought a 07 LS460L and it was some hard water spots, swirl marks too. I just ordered the chemical Brothers kit with the buffer from Costco. But for the water spots should I buy that 3d spot remover or just use the stuff the kit comes with? I tried clay bar and distilled vinegar but I guess these are the type 3 spots that are deeper.

The harbor freight da works well and you can get them any time. You don't need a microfiber pad, you can start off with foam pads that finishes out a lot better. Its always a good idea to use the least aggressive method to get the job done, it will leave you with less work to follow through at the end too, this is black paint!

Okay thanks, so no need for special water spot remover, simply use the compounds that came with the kit and follow YouTube videos. Start with the orange cutting pad then work my way to the white finishing one? I actually had a HF da but left it at my dad's in another state. And decided to just restock my tools and car stuff with this one.

There are plenty of existing threads on water spot removal for you to reference...
A water spot remover will have NO effect on water spot etchings. Chemical water spot removers will only remove mineral deposits on the surface of the paint. Once the paint has become etched, an abrasive substance is the only way to level the surface and remove the etching.
