Protecting Light Red Matte Leather From Stains or Dye Transfer
Is there a product (think ceramic coat-level protection for leather)... that will protect red leather seats from pencil mark permanent staining, make melted chocolate not forever discolor the seat, prevent body oils from darkening the leather, or prevent denim or clothing dye transfer to red leather seats?
I have a new 2018 Camry XSE with the red leather interior and am looking for the best way to protect a daily driver AND preserve the matte finish of the leather (i.e. NOT leave it glossy or greasy).
Is something like Leather Master Leather Protection Cream - Matte; or Leather Master Leather Barrier; Leather Master Ink Stop just snake oil? Will it damage the red leather or the nice satiny matte finish? Would Chemical Guys Serum do anything? Would Gold Eagle 303 Aerospace protectant?
Has anyone used a product that has damaged red leather seats?
