I hate cleaning headliners. They are by far the most fragile part of the interior. I use Folex and spray and dab with a white towel to remove staining. Don't get the headliner too wet and don't apply too much pressure. Often once you start cleaning the headliner, you will find that you need to do the whole headliner so it looks uniform when it is done.
