Touch up paint screw up
i could probably google but I enjoy this forum so I’ll ask here for your opinions/ advice
i just bought a 2004 gx470 blizzard pearl color. For the age the condition was pretty good few blemishes here and there. The one that bothered me the most was a 4 in single line scratch just above driver door handle. The scratch could be felt and was not straight. I bought factory touch up and clear coat applied both and really think it looks worse. It’s not smooth so what’s the best way or thing to sand down and try again. At least I’ve got the crack filled in just not happy with the unevenness and think a light sand job might help
TIA

You can try using some nail polish remover with acetone to slightly wipe away the touch up paint or alcohol. Try a little bit to see how it reacts. I dripped caliper paint on my trunk of my other car before and this cleaned it right up.

Ditto on the Nail Polish Remover but be extremely careful when doing it or you'll end up discoloring the paint "around" your affected area.
Someone here, and the Company doing my PPF & Ceramic Coat, advised me to order touch up paint from this place. Found it to be VERY helpful and easy to use!
Dr. Color Chip
They even give you some alcohol within it you may be able to use. Their "swipe/smear" method worked out so well for me I bought one for each car! Good luck!
