So i was detailing my car this weekend and noticed the tailgate starting to bubble, it’s small and not very noticeable. i’ve already got some touch up clear coat and covered it up a little bit. Would this be an issue later on? this is on the tailgate and there’s no signs of it anywhere else on the vehicle. thanks

There will be rust beyond what you see, paint needs to be removed and the paint/rust removed until you find clean metal.
