Steering wheel is dark black and shiny now
I was looking at my steering wheel today and I was comparing it to the new Lexus's I drove as loaner vehicles. Mine is now shiny black, kind of slippery / oil like. I noticed, the bottom of the steering wheel where it's not touched by hand much is still kind of dull. How are you supposed to take care of this?

Go to the auto care and detailing section of the forum. I'm about to research the same.
Be careful about interior detailers and "cleaners". Some can cause damage. The meguiars wipes are probably fine.

My favorite way to remove skin oils is Meguiars D181 and a horse hair brush or, if you have the patience, a toothbrush.
D181 leaves everything factory-matte. Never used anything like it!

Try a brush and woolite and water and agitate the shiny parts and then dry and see what it looks like, if that does not work try a leather cleaner. I tried Wolfgang leather cleaner, it is very good for a shiny steering wheel. Leather is supposed to have a matte look, you can get it back that way with the proper materials and working at it. Oils and grease on your hands will turn leather shiny after a while.
