Default How do you care for your car's exterior?

Just curious what you guys use, how often you use it, and what steps you do to apply the products?

Of the better stuff you can buy at stores I'd recommend Meguiar's.

1) Wash your car with their shampoo
2) Clean the paint using a paint cleaner
3) Polish (multiple coats help, let dry at least 2 hrs between coats)
4) Glaze (ads more depth to your shine, completely skippable if you don't feel like it)
5) Sealer (you can find some that have glaze and sealer in one bottle, like Mother's)
6) Use Quick detailer on entire car and leave it overnight
7) Wax, at least 2 coats. If you want a really great shine use a pure carnuba wax. problem with it is it doesn''t last long. liquid waxes are easy to work with but you don't get the same shine as with a paste. Pinnacle's Soverein is probably one of the best waxes out there and their liquid Soverein is very close to their paste. Unfortunately it's $60 for a jar

Talking

For an alternative:

www.zainobros.com

Less time consuming, easier. Smells good, too.
