If you've got some time, take a stroll through this thread in the detailing forum. So much good information here about how to take care of our leather surfaces.

I got the swissvax leather kit, worked it into the deal of my car from my friend, leather in the car feels great, although this stuff is pretty premium priced.

I've got flaxen leather which is kind of a honey color and shows dirt/blue jean dye somewhat. I clean with a Woolite solution, maybe 6:1 water to Woolite. I only lightly clean the leather I don't touch and I scrub the driver seat and arm rest pretty good using a micro fiber cloth. I rinse with a damp micro fiber cloth and then dry with a dry cloth. I let it sit a while to fully dry and then put a coat of Lexol on all the leather and then buff with a clean cloth. Seems to work pretty well and does not appear glossy to me.
You have to know that you're not actually cleaning leather, you're cleaning a polyurethane "paint job" over your leather so it's pretty easy to take care of and the Lexol might not actually be doing all that much since it's really not touching the actual leather but I kind of like the smell.

More important then conditioning the leather is keeping it clean. Dirt is what will deteriorate leather rapidly. Over 20 years have used Zaino leather cleaner and leather in a bottle conditioner. Both make the leather smell like new again. I use a soft Kiwi shoe polish brush to agitate the cleaner into the pores of the leather. Both applications take less than ten minutes.

You're like me, I can't stand shiny leather seats. This is why I use Leatherique on my car - it's hands down the best overall leather restoring/preserving product I've ever used, and I've used A LOT of different brands. Since I'm too lazy to find it, go search for "leatherique" in the detailing section, and there's a post by me with some before and after shots when I used it on my parents' Tundra. The seats look brand new with that nice matte finish.
