Estimated Repair Costs
Hey,
Came home one night and messed up parking in my garage. Anyone know how much a repair would costs to fix this? It’s a very noticeable dent and I’m pretty bummed out. This is on the back drivers side wheel.
Other details:
- 2019 IS 300
- three more years remaining on lease

That's in a tough spot for a PDR tech to get to, maybe access through the door switch. Don't know about cost, send that pic to a few shops to get a quote.

PDR is going to be basically impossible there. It looks like the damage to the door is limited to the PPF film thats there, but they will likely have to blend into that door in order to make the paint match properly.
Cost? In a really good shop? $2,500 or so.

Yeah, not only in an impossible spot, but then you have the factory installed bend/crease that they would have to deal with. Plus the paint is all effed up. No way to PDR that.
The door is scratched on the edge though...where the film isn't covering. Also can't tell if the paint under the film is messed up.
Then it looks like your entire side skirt is all scratched up too. Yeah, $2-3K. easy.

If that can't be PDR'd then it can be pulled with a spotter then filled with tin. Not many body shops have the expertise to do that though but it's the best way, no body filler and no metal replaced.
