Checking Paint Thickness
Hey Everyone, if you are looking at buying a used vehicle, or if you do detailing (polishing) a thickness gauge is a good investment. After getting one, I can't imagine being without it. It's come in most useful for just buying a vehicle as its really easy to prove if vehicle panels (steel) have been repainted, or if there is Bondo underneath you won't get a reading. It certainly helps with price negotiation if you can find a repainted panel on a car.
