i did a search and didnt find what im lookin for exactly. right now im pretty much cleaning up the sc to a bit better than a brand new stock quality (replacing/repairing parts basically).

you know that black piece that some along the side of the window between the actual side window and the little one? forget what its called

anyway, ive seen some people who take off all the black paint and have it all chrome (which im not that big of a fan of). i was wondering how mcuh would it cost to get that repainted? or how would i go about doing it myself?

any help is appreciated, thanx. ill take a pic later to show you guys how it looks right now but ive got a class in a few

I had the problem with my 95 SC400. Before I sold my SC400 to get the GS430 I had the body shop sand and painted both sides for about $75. I was going to replace them but was told that the piece is part of a windows trim which will be very costly to replace (about $300 to 400) and labor to remove will bring us the cost. I instead opt to repainted the part to Gloss Black (almost like original).

You could just simply mask the car and paint the piece yourself.
