Scratch and/or Stain on Ultra White Paint?
Hello all,
I recently purchased a new 2021 ES 350 F-Sport Blackline in the Ultra White exterior. After cleaning the car today for the first time, noticed some odd marks on it. It's not easily visible at all, takes a couple seconds to actually hone in on the small mark on two of the doors and right on the border of the Lexus Logo on my trunk.
I ran my fingernail gently over it and it doesn't catch, so doesn't seem to be a scratch? I live in the West Texas area and it's been pretty windy/gusty, with wind gusts that can sometimes be up to 45-50 mph. I've used ONR to clean the ES but I'm gentle with it, using a separate microfiber for each panel to wipe/dry. Had a minor scratch from some loose gravel that was easily fixed with Meguiar's ScratchX but when applied to this mark, does nothing.
Any ideas what this might be? It's not major by any means and takes about 6-7 seconds to actually hone in on it...lol. But still irritating with the car being so new.
p.s. - mods, please delete my post in the ES section, thought it would be better to post in this sub-section instead. Couldn't find a way to delete that post.
Thanks!

With any defect start with the most mild compound possible and move up. This takes experience, going too far and hard with a heavy compound can damage the paint. Highly recommend a machine polisher doing it by hand gives inconsistent results.
