Question NuLuxe long-term durability compared to leather

I have a 2020 NX with NuLuxe. All of the reading I've done seems very positive.

I'm curious as to how this material is standing up over time and use. Hard to tell from people who might've only owned their vehicles for just a few years, as I'd like to hear from people who have had their NX for a long time OR did a lot of driving (meaning, lots of seat usage).

If I had the choice, I would've preferred leather (even at an additional cost), but I didn't have the choice and I didn't read anything negative about it, so I proceeded with my purchase.

I kinda miss the leather smell that I just don't have with NuLuxe. And to the touch it feels kinda 'cheap', compared to how leather felt in my previous vehicles.

I bought a 2015 NX and the interior looks brand new. No issues with any of the NuLuxe.

My new 2021 350 ES has NuLux. I’m convinced it will wear very well but it absolutely does not have the rich feel of leather. This is my first Non-leather car. There certainly is a difference. I’m satisfied to have saved the money. But the look and feel are certainly not the same.
Also the carpet in the base model feels cheap. Is the carpet more plush in the upper 2 models?

I’ve been singing this song since the first day I drove my 2021 Base. I’m satisfied though, given the cost savings but I would have expected at least more plush carpeting. Hey, I guess there’s no free lunch.
