Default Damaged clear coat from bug splatter on road trip

I noticed after washing my GS 350 that some dried bug splatter seems to have damaged the clear coat in one spot as I can still see the outline of the bug guts and that area is no longer shiny but dull. Is this permanent or can I or a good detailer fix this? Unfortunately the car was not ceramic coated and no PPF before the trip. Thanks.

Hit it with some polishing compound you'll know quickly if there is permanent damage.

I would have the entire vehicle polished. Then paint film on the front end. Then ceramic coat the vehicle. Always wash off bug guts immediately after a road trip. The gut acid eats through the clear coat.
