Recently purchased a new RX and discovered that the dealership placed an advertising label on the rear hatch. While I like the dealership, I don't care to be a mobile billboard for them and would like to safely remove it without damaging the paint. I would appreciate hearing your recommended methods of removal.

I’ve removed several of these stick on decals using a hair dryer and a plastic or wooden stick, like a popcycle stick to start an edge and then peel it off. They won’t scratch the paint. WD40 or a Goo Begone product will remove the glue residue.
As a follow-up I was successfully removed the dealers decal using a Wagner heat gun and cleaned up the residual sticky adhesive with a little Goo Begone. I did use the heat gun very carefully. The heat really softened up the vinyl(?) decal.
