Default Xpel Paint Proctection Film

Hi,

I'm new to Clublexus. I have an '03 SC430 millenium silver.
I bought Xpel Headlight kit (Clear film paint protection) and installed a few days ago.
It was hard at first, but with hair blow dryer next to my side, the film became pliable and curved around the headlight easily.

Has anyone done the bumper and hood for SC430 paint protection clear bra of any product like 3M, clearshield, Xpel or Stonegard..?

The professional installer charges an arm and leg for labor, but if it's something I can do myself, I can save the extra bread.

any info. would be helpful.

Thanks....teeman3

Don't know how many owners have done their own XPEL installation.

Personally, if I just shelled out the dough for a $60K+ car, I'd spend the extra money to have it professionally done.

I agree with BuyERTS. If you screw up the install on your car, it may be a problem taking off. Get a pro to do the install.

Default Xpel and paint films

I have Armorglove installed on my SC430. Here's a pic of it installed: Armorglove

I highlighted where it ends with wax as it's hard to see.

I have front bumper, air-dam, hood (wrapped), headlights, fender by headlights, side mirrors, rocker panels and door cups.

Best investment I made!

After looking at Xpel, Stoneguard, and others I decided on Armorglove as it's a thicker film, better protection, better installers. It pays to do your research on paint films! Installers make or break the result!

Do NOT try to install yourself! You need special tools and training to really do it right! You spent good money on a fine car, don't screw it up by going cheap! Get a professional to install it!

Regards,
Deanski
