Default Young’s ISF Adventure - 2011 SPF Goodness

Hey CL Family - Its a sleepless night and figured I could take the time to diary my ISF journey.

Below is my former 2012 Nebula Gray that I still regret selling. It was a full Tom’s V1 build with hyper silver GSF wheels. I reluctantly sold it and moved onto the GSF platform.

Fast forward to November 2021 and I saw a fellow members ‘11 SFP pop up for sale. It was modded in fashion similar to how I would’ve done. After battling against my whole soul to buy another one…I lost that battle.

I knew I wanted to throw my flavor into the car and didn’t quite know how yet…I worked out a deal and traded the CE28s to a local buddy for his OEM 12 wheels. Arguably the best OEM F wheel imo…Also decided to upsize tires to 255/285 cause why not

While the enjoying the car as it was for awhile, I began my journey of looking for parts to make this a special build.

My close buddy sold me his Greddy TI Catback exhaust. Look at that titanium!

I also sourced some curbed Wedssport SA55M and got them repaired and powdercoated to a color similar to the OEM 12 wheels.

If anyone knows me, I love wheels and it’s my guilty pleasure. Was also able to scoop up a set of ISF spec Wedssport SA67R.

Because of its similarity to the OEM 12 wheels, I said ****** it and threw it onto the GSF to give it a more aggressive appearance.

After lots of pondering…I opted not to install the Greddy TI as I knew it would be unbearable to drive on a daily basis with headers. Ended up selling to an ISF buddy whom had been looking for months. Also ended up selling the SA55M to another local F member…all that work for nothing!

So again, I was left looking for some wheels. Pulled the trigger on a set of rare concave face RE30 in mag blue finish…🫠

There’s just something about Mag Blue on a white car. Paired them with Advan AD08Rs for a squared meaty 18” set up.

While the Joe Z exhaust had a nice tone suitable for daily driving, I still had an itch for change. After bothering @JT2MA71 for months, he sold me his HKS SSM. Look at that craftsmanship!

After a few months, the mag blue started to feel a bit tacky…was able to sell them pretty quickly and scooped up a set of Formula Silver TE37SL ahead of their discontinuation from Rays.

Took off the front CWEST front lip and decided to run with an OEM look in the interim.

History has a way of repeating itself…had a highkick duckbill spoiler paint matched on just the top to leave the bottom carbon exposed. Scooped an authentic Tom’s V1 front and side skirts and opted for paint match and gloss black.

Love the journey. What drew you back to another ISF?

Also any more pics of the hyper silver wheels on Nebula grey? I have a 2013 NGP and am debating having my OEM wheels power coated hyper silver. Just want a little more subtle pop/shine over the stock color.

Awesome wheel choice. Love the mag blue RE30. Those and advan gt in mag blue are my favorite wheel choices.
