Hello everyone,

finally pulled the trigger on plasti dipping the chrome on ELSA. Originally I was going to have my friend wrap them. But he’s been a little busy, and I couldn’t wait any longer.

It wasn’t difficult at all! obviously just a little time consuming. And mostly because of the preparation. Let me know what you guys think. I’ll put up some before and afters..

I only ask as we have very similar themes and the only remaining change for
mine is the emblems and I love how yours turned out.

you could finish it off by doing the side view mirrors and the door handles to emulate the Lexus Crafted Line. I was salty that it was only available for the IS250 at the time (no IS350 available).

FYI I got those overlay skins too and they started turning olive

I can confirm, tried few ebay ones, after some time they turn green olive and up close doesn’t look that good anymore…
i would suggest using some good quality smoked vinyl wrap like VIVID etc or maybe go to local tint shop with good reviews to do it for ya.
