supercharged 2006 gs430
So some of you may remember a similar thread from a couple of years ago where I supercharged my gs430 and then promptly got rear ended and the car was totaled out...

Well I'm back with another nearly identical 2006 lexus gs430 (yes I have a type).
I picked this one up around 9 months ago for a pretty sweet deal at only 150k with all maintenance up to date. Spent a few months getting a few odds and ends tidied such as various bushings and reupholstering the seats before the real work began.
Got a good deal on the breaks and wheels off an ISF
decided to get a baseline dyno done to know what i am working with at managed 231/240 on a particularly hot and humid day in august. keep in mind this was a stress test with all accessories running, heat soaked engine on one of the hottest days of the year to get a worst case baseline.
then the time had finally come for me to put all the supercharger stuff back on the car at long last.
I still have to get pictures of the afr and boost gauges I have hidden in the glove box, but I did install a grom vline2 so I can run the torque pro app on it for real time data feedback.
for now im just waiting on my vf tuner to show up so I can start remapping the factory ecu. the car runs pretty well all things considered even with out a tune but i am not driving the car into boost until I have it remapped but for now its sitting pretty with a chrome delete and different exhaust tips. next on the list is getting it tuned and the exhaust reworked.

So finally got everything running right and all my vacuum leaks and what not buttoned up. Had some difficulty getting the right amount of boost for a baseline tune dialed in, found out late model 3uz engines have a larger crank pulley than older models. Found a 3.8 inch pulley that puts boost at 6lbs and the factory computer handles timing and fuel adjustment just fine. Working on the tune using VF tuner now to dial in optimized fuel and timing values now but hopefully will be on a dyno in the next two weeks. After that I can go back to the smaller pulley and start targeting 8psi and start working a little more on some other chassis enhancements.
