Yesterday center caps arrived, together with pearl black trunk emblems.

I wish I could put pearl black emblem on the front but apparently I will lose collision detector radar feature 🤷‍♂️ I guess only way to ‚black out’ front Lexus emblem is to tint it. Unless someone knows emblem replacement that retains OEM functions.

My personalized plate also arrived finally:

——————————

Overall I’m very happy how the car looks, will lower it someday next week and fix camber and aligment.

Next steps will be some side skirts, maybe rear diffuser and exhaust (most likely Borla Type S Axleback as it sounds the best for the price, not too ‚rice’y’ but will see what future brings).

Nice build man, have you noticed your right exhaust is lower than the left one? If it is happen on your car like my car, I just figure out is the only way to fix is when you have your stock exhaust off, use the jack to jack the two exhaust hanger mounts to bend them just a little up, and put the exhaust on to see if is even with the other side? If still not even enough just jack more to get more bend until they are even, my stock exhaust wasn't off much, but after I install the F-Sport exhaust the right side is sag more and the left, that the only way make them even, good luck

I actually didn’t notice that lol thanks for the info, appreciate!
I’m planning to actually change exhaust anyway (between Borla S-Type and F-Sport Exhaust) so probably I will leave it as is for now.

That's not the right way to get it even lol!

You simply undo the 2 nuts for whichever one you want to adjust, set it to the proper height, then tighten the nuts. This is how I got it straight on a 2017 and 2022 IS.

yeah I tried that before, but still the right side still sag though. I did check the other stock exhaust at the dealer and all of them are slightly uneven

Try it again or get someone to hold it where it's supposed to be as you tighten it.
That's the proper way to adjust it.

Washed the car after months of rain and pollen, way better now.
Didn’t get a chance to lower it last week due to some personal stuff, I will try to do it by the end of this month!

I will treat this thread as a journal that I can keep track of progress what was done to the car.

————————————

February 14, 2022 - Traded in my Civic for brand new IS350 with 8 miles on it

————————————

May 5, 2024 - How the car looks now - at 13,500 miles

————————————

What was done so far:

- Tinted windows 20% all around (except windshield), chrome delete around windows and tinted taillights (clear parts) at VinciRestyling

- Blacked out rear trunk emblems (eBay) and side fender IS500 OEM emblems (Parts# 75361-53060 & 75362-53060) and Real Carbon Fiber license plate frame (LINK)

- Replaced most of OEM interior halogen bulbs for LED 6000k Auxito

- Real Carbon Fiber side mirror covers from leon_carbonfiber

- Glossy Black front lip for 2021+ IS350 from eBay

- Megan Racing Strut Bar (eBay Link) and aFe Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake w Pro 5R Filter (aFe Power)

————————————
Did you have to alter any part on the intake since it was designed for the 20 and below years? And does the car feel any different after the intake?

I just had to slightly bend the heat shield for one bolt to fit, other than that Intake pipe and filter fit without any issues.

I didn’t really notice any performance gains (or loses), car really feels the same - but I love the sound that it makes during acceleration and little ‚shush’ sound when downshifting 😄

It also removes sound generator (intake sound through the speakers) which i wasn’t fan anyway so I’m happy about that!

hey, congratulations on the car
Yes, I have 8.5 +35 in front and clears breaks and arms, i will probably put 5-7mm spacer to flush it
Rear 9.5 +35 will clear brakes as well as this is typical offset and width that people install on our cars!

Thank you for the feedback, I feel confident on buying wheels now. Do you have any pics with that setup? I plan to do front 19x8.5 + 35 & 19x9.5 + 35 all with oem tires & I plan on getting the eibach pro kit lowering springs just for a little drop don’t want anything crazy

I personally didn’t do it but one of this forum member (@NateDogg77) did it here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...l#post11278821

He did 19x8.5 +30mm front (which is just shy 5mm off what you need) and 19x9.5 +35mm rear
