Bit of updates to the build.

Last week got new tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (Front: 245/19/40, Rear: 275/19/35)
I really like how car handles in the corners, feels more ‚stable’ also i didn’t notice much difference in tire noise (i think is more or less the same as OEM).

———————

I also put new exhaust: Remark Muffler Version of Axleback with burnt tips LINK
Car sounds exactly as I wanted to! Still comfortably quiet on lower RPM with deeper sound and not too obnoxiously loud on high RPM. I’m really happy with the product and happy that my V6 doesn’t sound like a VQ Trumpet 😅

Cold start clip in attachment! I will try to get some fly-bys soon.

———————

Next plan is to finally get lowering springs installed and LCA RCF bushing to keep new tires protected from excessive wear.
I want to put some spacer to the front (after lowering it) to make the fitment more flush and put some negative camber to the rear to make it flush with fenders as well.

Picture how car looks today:

Any rubbing in the front with those tire sizes? I was thinking of going that size once I burn off the tires that came with the car.

No rubbing in the front at all, as a matter of fact I want to put spacer to make front more flush.

Rear rubs a bit when i go over bigger bumps on highway with high speed but that has more to do with wheels (25mm offset) which will be fixed by putting some camber (will install camber arms on the rear, when lowering).

Today with help of NextLevelAuto @v12eatr (check out his Instagram, quality job for anyone from Tri-State Area or even East coast, worth to drive)

Definitely need a wash after rainy days, and will order front wheel spacers (probably 5-10mm) to make front flush and fitment will be perfect ✅

Plans for the future:
- Blue RCF Calipers (Front) and Brembo RCF Rotors/Pads
- Side skirts
- Some cosmetics (RCF shift ****, led headlights etc)

Took a risk and ordered both - RCF Shift **** and RCF shift boot with blue stitching, while still waiting for boot to arrive, tried to test RCF **** - clips alignment is different on IS350 vs RCF, technically you can screw it in, but will not ‚catch’ the boot and looks ugly.
Waiting for RCF boot to arrive so I can replace both.

Today installed RCF shift **** and boot. Pretty easy process, took me maybe 15 minutes, had to remove center console but it took me literally few screws.

Freshly washed today. I really like how car is looking, this color combination fits in my opinion a lot! I just need RCF BBK and install spacers up front and side skirts.

Last week added some eBay “2021+ Side skirts” in gloss black.
They are alright for the price (3 pieces) - paint is good, they are holding nice but they are little shorter than they should be. I would say inch on both sides (I tried to center them to make it fit as good as possible).
They also came with rear side spats but didn’t install them yet, not sure how I feel about them, didn’t want to drill bumper since i’m not convinced if i’m gonna like it. I might ‘test fit’ them with some 3M tape first.

Side view (only good picture i have at this moment lol):

Also today got my customized Japanese style license plate:
