The screw ups from the previous company were almost undetectable, and caused enough of a problem that Frank has had to remove the passenger side header and other turbo parts so that he can remake a portion of that header. So, that means it will be next week before it can be completed and recoated in ceramic.
The good news is that Frank was extremely thorough with checking for any potential problems before releasing my car to me because I had it at two other shops, and delivered my car to him partially dismantled and with several "parts". My hat is off to Frank, who never makes the same mistake twice....
My car is still going to LexFest, but it will not be painted and updated with the 2000 refresh kit before it gets there... We are riunning out of time...
On another good note...My water injection is here...Pics to come.

I'm kind of confused by that statement. What sort of problem was there from the previous company that had it that caused the passenger header to be reconfigured?

Eric: How is that statement confusing??? I just did not state specifically what the previous company did wrong...The previous company lost my dipstick to my transmission, they lost several bolts and nuts, and they lost my alternator...They claim they put everything back on the car, but they left the alternator off. If you are not familiar with the 1UZ, and if it did not come to you intact, then it is hard to see that the alternator is missing. There was no alternator on the car. When Frank built the turbo parts, he assumed that the engine was intact...So did I. Also, there was no earthly reason to ever remove the alternator when building the headers...So, when Frank built the passenger side header, it did not occur to him to look for the alternator and determine that it was intact. The Missing alternator was found out after the fact. So, I had to buy another one, because Trinity claimed that they put it back on the car...and the dipstick.... When Frank installed the alternator, the supporting bracket of the passenger header was hitting the corner of the alternator, and one tube was closer than Frank was comfortable with...So, to do it right, he decided to remake that header....Now you know the rest of the story...
