Here's a few pics of my car under construction...

Amazing how much room opens up when all of the "stuff" is removed.

More to come...

Here's a look at the stock headers, and the stock hydraulic fan/radiator assembly...Notice how restrictive the headers are? I gain several precious inches in width within the engine compartment by replacing the stock hydraulic fan assembly and motor.

Passenger side:

Driver's side:

Radiator/Fan assembly:

Here is a pic of one of the speakers on the rear deck that I replaced...it was so dry rotted, that it broke apart like this by me simply barely tapping the paper cone with my finger...I replaced that 4" with a MB Quart Reference series 6.5 inch polypropolene speaker...

Here is the stock exhaust, sans the cats...

Will keep you posted and updated...

im sure Ryan wants to get it going more than you guys do.. but alas,, he i still at the mercy of the welder/fabricator..
we fabricators are a starnge bunch. ..
im gonna be away from my shop for a while,, but if ryans still havin to wait for progress--il go pick it up and do it myself--at the end of the summer.. il keep an eye on things via the net in the mean time..

Scott...Dave...The humor isn't funny anymore... You joke about it as if it is me that is holding it up...Although I know you both mean it in fun, you're now beatin it to death. There is only ONE reason this car is not done, and as soon as this welder finishes his part, I will complete this turbo project myself.

The welder has now had a family emergency, and will be out of town for another week or so... So, I will be completing the rest of my other mods...The welder is giving me access to his shop so I can finish other planned mods on my car, e.g., the door pods will be installed, the hidden sub enclosure will be fabbed and installed, I will complete the wiring of the stereo system, and install upper front UCA bushings, and rear UCA and LCA bushings. At that point, all bushings on my car will have been replaced, not just the control arms, but also the main body bushings as well. Car ought to ride like brand new...Thanks Andrew Vlamos...

I will leave it at this for the moment...Good things come to those who practice patience...As long as I see reasonable, continued progress, I will practice patience...

Chris...Thanks for the prop...

Ryan

Scott:

It's all good... I am just a little frustrated at the slowness of the welder...He will have 2 weeks to complete the welding from when he returns.

Looking good Ryan.

I'm in the same situation now waiting for the welder and collecting parts. I've been all over town gathering U-Bends, flex pipes, flanges upon flanges, hose ends, hose assemblies, clamps, reducers, hose conectors, air filters, ceramic coating, exhaust wrap, and chasing after the polishers.

Always a good time, eh?

Hey Dave, I hear that your car is currently slower than mine....It is sitting on a lift...Broke, out of commission, and since it is higher off the ground, even slower than mine... Oh crap!!... We're off to the races, Gnat (where's my flyswatter???) and SC400T, there running neck and neck folks...It's a really close race....

Good luck with the new fuel rail...
