[QUOTE=CleanSC]

Jose, it is obvious that you installed the Lexus OEM lower door mouldings...Did you have to drill the bottom of the door for installation, or just use the sticky tape?

Ryan

BTW, every time I review this thread, I am impressed with your attention to detail... Man

The 97' lower door molding attaches with plastic clips which are included.

Look in my first post of this thread. There's a link there with more information. Also do a search, there's plenty of info on this, and even OLT will sell you the boards to do it.

LOL Ryan I told ya those are the factory '92 door mouldings. I know because I removed them, sanded them, painted them, and put them back on.

I can't really comment on this because I drove the car very little on the stock wheels. After purchasing I immediately started dismantling it.

Thanks, man. It's a Fuji S602z. No big deal but gets the job done for someone mildly into photography.

I don't have any vids but it's very quiet. Remember this system is just an axle-back (and DAMN expensive for just 2 mufflers and 12" of pipes) so you retain the stock resonators, cats, and small-diameter pipes. You could easiliy make it louder by removing the resonators, cats, or enlarging the stock pipes.

LOL thanks, man. That's one of the many reasons why I love pure white. Makes no sense to have a nice body kit in a color you can't see it all in. I could have very well painted the car black but that makes your kit disappear and hides all the detail. My last 3 cars have been white.

As for the Wald kit, I've warned many about it on CL. See the thread linked in my first post on that. It doesn't fit and it's very expensive for what you get. If you have a good body man that works with fiberglass and bondo and about 3 or 4 months to spare then go for it. Otherwise go for something else like the AC kit. Also remember it's discontinued so you can only buy the full kit and no spares. This sucks because I've already ripped the front off the car once and the back bumper was shattered by some a$$hole that rearended me last Thursday.

Fiberglass is a pain in the ***.

Sorry to hear about that Jose... . I know you will fix it again good as new...

Exactly why I did not go with the AC kit, and went with the 97 refresh...No Fiberglass.

Clean SC,

I was wondering if you had the part number to the 1997+ lower door mouldings and the clips that are used to install them. I have a 1995 model and want to upgrade. Unfortunately the local dealer has no idea what i am talking about. Yes I have tried searching but found nothing.

Thanks!
