not a bad idea buying new stock head bolts, but ARP are designed with boost in mind and are an upgrade.

I believe that the Mazda RX 7 injectors are the upgrade of choice for the GE rail.

kaiser, you think that 10-12 psi is pushing the limits for the ge motor and the rx7 injectors fits the harness or do you need the clips from the 7

with stock internals, i wouldn't boost more than 10psi on pump gas....
make sure you upgrade the head gasket to TT and of course, use walbro fuel pump.......heheh

With the TT head gasket my estimate would be 12psi max on pump gas. The stock internals aren't going to limit you, it will be the octane of the gas and the strength of your transmission. The main reason I didn't go NA-T is I knew the GE trans hates more than 325 rear wheels.

I made 325 rear wheels with my GTE on 12psi but my compression is 8.5:1.

kaiser, when did you do the gte swap?
im still running the w58 tranny on my sc with the gte swap and i can tell it barely holds the power down even with upgraded clutch kit. i dont plan on getting the getrag anyways...too expensive. what wud you recommend a good clutch kit for my tranny? btw, im only running bpu on my jspec like fcd, intake, downpipe and full exhaust, and mbc boosting 15psi max on pump gas.

On the SC I did, I had a 1JZ and a W58. I used a RPS SS. I really liked the feel of it. I never turned up the power on that motor high enough to really push it. On my Aristo I'm running a single and I'm able to reach 17psi with no detonation on 91 octane. The single compressor puts out a lot less heat than the twins.

kaiser, is your side mount intercooler pretty good on cooling the air and doesn't it really matter on the intercooler or you just paying for the brand name?

I paid $220 shipped for my intercooler. I didn't pay for a brandname. The side mount I got is the largest that will possibly fit in that opening. A bit of custom work was required to make it fit. I can get to 17psi on 91 octane so it must be cooling fairly well.
