Hey Hoe, so is it just the seals? I was thinking the small hole in the wall might be a vent for the back side of the clyinder. I have no experience with air suspension but been around traditional air cylinders. just a thought. I suppose if it was supposed to be there they would all have it.

just put the stock rears in so i can at least drive the car till the rears get rebuilt (whenever that might be). got it off the jack stands and tested the front. drivers side is fine - holds air. passenger side leaks a bit when its half full but the leak is very very slow when its all the way up. im gonna test drive it to see if its really bad when driving over uneven ground since its just sitting in my garage and slowly leaking - no change in the pressure on the can. worst case scenario is ill have to put the stock fronts in tuesday night, which im thinking ill do anyway since its safer and get all 4 rebuilt.

these cans are fkn bootleg - honestly wish i never bought them. i couldve spent a bit more and gotten something else that would actually work. im probably talking out of my *** though, because im sure i wont care when its all said and working again. im gonna try a local hydraulic/air shop that my friend goes to - he thinks they can rebuild them since they rebuild hydraulic setups with new seals all day long. we shall see (im really trying to be positive as this point).

anyway, the one thing i am happy about is that it goes higher than stock height and dumps to the ground fairly quickly. it goes up pretty quickly too - im a bit surprised since theyre small lines.

all the way up:

all the way down:

Cant you just go buy a set of universal canovers of the same size and put the prackets on them? Thats how it always was with my hydraulic setups, the cylinders are all the same its the brackets that make the difference...

ya i could but id rather leave that as my very last resort

i drove it around for 5 miles or so. if i keep the pressure above 115psi it doesnt leak at all except when it rebounds on a bump in the road. it only loses a couple psi in that case. when its at 160psi, it doesnt leak at all even when it rebounds, its really bouncy though. when its around 80-90 psi it slowly but steadily drops. if i go down to 50-55psi it rubs like crazy when the suspension rebounds - ill probably never do that again lol. the leak really isnt that bad, but ill go ahead and rebuild the fronts as well.

Damn, sorry to hear about all your mishaps in this install...well I'm sure getting 2 installed/semi-leak free is enough to keep you happy in the meantime while the rears are getting worked on...
