That was my biggest problem when doing mine. I had the tendency to over tighten my fittings, that kills the plug if you were to ever remove it and reinstall. If I remember correctly, the rule of thumb with these fittings is that you tighten arm strength and then give it another 1 to 1 1/2 turns...

Can't wait to see this beast completed...

retightened everything. the fronts work now. both rears have punctures - on each is a different type, theres a small hole on the back of one (perfect cirlce - like it was drilled), and on the other theres a hole on the underside in one of the hex bolts.. which also looks like it was drilled. very weird. but ill have them welded shut in a day or two.

LOL i was justkidding but you know jb weld will work up to 150 psi no prob. Ive used it on air tank bungs that have been broken. Which is like a 3/16's hole, Are the holes in the aluminum?

sense: these holes make none

they have to have been drilled.. and why they were - who knows. it makes absolutely no sense to drill in these spots, or drill into the canister period.

i just talked to my guy who did the custom bushings for me. we're shooting for tomorrow to meet up. he says it shouldnt be a big deal to weld the first one. finding a flush allen bolt for the second will be a pain in the *** though.
