Ordered the new speakers and rest of the carpc parts today.
Origin roof spoiler came in (birthday present from travis and noel) yesterday and I put it on. I'll get some pics later. I don't know if I like the gloss black yet, I may repaint it the same color of the car... we'll see. (A big thanks again to travis and noel for the awesome present)

i am very impressed! now you needa get that bish into paint and get it all one color :P are you just gonna leave it at the 97 front or go all out and do the whole body?
are you still using the stock auto and if so how is it holdin up?

Thanks! I'm working on paint asap. I'm already in the process of buying the full kit from alvin, and i'm going to return this bumper to travis so he can get that back on his sc.
Right now the auto tranny seems to be holding up well. Its only seeing about 300hp and I don't beat on it at all. I don't run more than 7-8psi when I do boost.
At this point the remaining plans for the car:
1. Finish the audio/carpc
2. Overhaul the suspension
3. Body work and paint
4. MORE BOOST! I wanna get it up to about 12psi with meth injection by then the tranny should be toast, ill then pick up the 1jz tranny and try to blow that up. aiming for about 400 - 450. Its my daily so I don't wanna go to crazy.
I really just wanna get it done and enjoy it.

man this thread really wants to make me either start putting together a turbo kit for my SC, or start working on dropping a 350/700R4 or 4L60 in my 1982 S10 and restoring that..if i were to do either i'd make it my DD..im leaning towards the S10 and taking to college while i let the SC stay low in miles and in good condition
but man..threads like this make it hard

I did a little work on the wiring for the carpc and audio stuff today. Finally installed an air filter too
Got bored and found an extra emblem laying around... The wheel looks crappy. It needs some paint or something till I get a new one.

Boy it was a long day today! Pretty cold too. I finally got my 97+ kit installed and man... it changed the WHOLE look of the car. I'll get some pics a little later. Thanks again Alvin for the kit!! You are the man! I still need to order some fogs and a grill.
I also started to run the power wiring for the new amp and carpc. I'm in the process of ordering the VoomPC2 case and the Intel Little Valley motherboard. I didn't get to run my RCA's or VGA extension yet, maybe later in the week. I'm also waiting on a spool of speaker wire. I will not be reusing the stock harnesses. I'm running all new 14 or 16 gauge wiring for the front speakers, tweeters and sub.
The tweeters, amp and mids are all from kicker. The main reason I went with the kickers is because we get a DEEP discount from kicker at my job... So the amount of money I would have spent on just the amp, got me speakers, an amp, lots of wiring, an amp kit and some other stuff....
Aside from that I have a few goodies coming from Junction Produce and Lexus...
