You've been crucial to the project, being the provider of the parts and all the advice along the way. I really appreciate all of it.

Looks like the joy of a super charged 400 was short lived!

That sounded totally dramatic. I will be tearing down the 400 this week to start the 5 speed swap. I really like how the car is now, but I might as well start this project while I have the help from a fellow Marine who was there for the FI project.

Be ready for more pictures! I need to find a good host for the videos. If you look up twizted's video on YouTube, mine pretty much sounds exactly like that, even without the IC.

I HAD to add some kind of suspense!

I just might blow it up soon, temps out here are going to be mid 120's this year so I have to wait and see what will happen to the car. My damn radiator light is still on so I'm kinda worried, yet I have good fluid level and such.

Weird.

Check the temp sensor at the bottom of the radiator. It might be bad.

Will do.

Also, when it idles (in park, but not a stop light in D with the break down) it bogs and kinda runs like crap. So to let it warm up, I put it in drive and hold the break down, warms up great that way.

<<going to expose ignorance of SC400>>

does the 400 have an air idle screw? I know on my ZXTT I was having that issue and had to turn the idle up a little. Putting into drive puts a load which automatically increases the RPMs a little.

just a thought.

It certainly does have an idle screw. I already opened it up a bit and it would idle fine, now it doesn't idle very well at all. Perhaps the ECU has learned and it runs like ****. I may need to open up the screw a bit more.

Welllll, fuel leaks suck so I had to revamp the fuel rails and such. I bit the bullet and ordered all AN fittings and such for the equalizer lines on the fuel rails, and I'm actually really happy. Once you have a fuel leak, it kind of scares you and you really don't want to burn a car down so its probably the best 150 I've spent on the car so far!

Also coming this week, will be replacing the plugs, rotors and caps as well as the fuel lines so it should be golden after that. Bought some thread lock for the manifold bolts... they managed to rattle loose.

Black wood trim looks amazing though, pictures don't do it justice! Pictures at the start of the thread!

threadlock probably won't work on the exhaust manifold bolts. it usually just melts.

Just caught up with this build, job well done.

I had a injector o-ring blow out on mine after the supercharger was fitted, scary. It has taken over twelve months of chasing faults to finally get it sorted, so yea dont hold back on possible fuel leaks.

The 5 speed will transform the car too.

Well I finished the next couple of steps for the build. I mounted my wide band O2, boost gauge and finished putting together some no-**** real fuel lines for the rails.

If these leak, I don't know what I am going to do with myself!
