SchlomYou might have missed my other break thread. I couldn't find a roof rack on the LS for my kayak (the LS is the beater). So I went out and bought a Super Charged Ranged Rover. So that tows the kayak. Thus no need to sell.
JoeI will keep you posted. We are also driving up to Vermont the same week for some skiing, so as time approaches and plans solidy, will keep you posted.
yea it is..nothing goes on up here except for the MD/DC/VA area. tristate area is dead with no events. thats why i gave up on meets cuz its boring since all u do is stand around.
Yup Joe, figured someone had to stimulate the economy. Going to go ported M90 with smaller pulley.
Also doing the full K series VTEC conversion on my 67 Mini. But that is another forum altogether. Hope all is well with you bro. Going to be in NY for New Years.
That's a very good choice. A supercharged LS400 is a really sleepper anyday. You'll be in the high powered sedan class. At least 7 psi and safely 8 psi with stock fuel system with a must of a 12:1 FMU and a Walbro 255 lpg hp-hf fuel pump. Don't go over 8 psi unless you have a better fuel enrichment system. You'll gain about 16 rwhp per psi and there's no need for tuning with this setup. Even at around 6 psi, I left several other 300+ hp new Lex in the dust...
Yeah I spent the money and did it right, because I wanted a great baseline for the car, and so that I could drive it another 120k miles with my eyes closed, reliably.
So after I got home after buying the car last sunday, had to do some mods. Took all the badging off, and did them in black. So here are the black badging, rear.
Please share how you did this? How do you take them off, did you paint them yourself, or buy new ones? PM me if you want.

Thanks,

Took them off, like I do on all my cars. Except the dumb Lexus has holes, so I couldn't just throw them away. Used floss to take them off. CLeaned them up with wd-40 and soap and water.
Painted black. Then some clear coat, and then reattach.
Super easy, looks great even after all this months of abuse.
Total cost was 0, since I had the paint and stuff.
