Not a good picture but you can see that the Intercooler Piping is not close to the Sway Bars at all.

Well does the SC3 ecu plug into the aristo harness at all? And even if it does, there are a lot of other factors to play out in order for it to work like sensor inputs and PCM outputs. They may or may not use the same voltages to read sensor input data. Only one way to find out...

I'm trying to figure something out back in NJ (emissions testing there) so im going as close to the book as possible. If not ill just go NA-T...

I haven't done this yet will be if there's no other way.

Say if you have 3 ECU

1. vvti GTE to run the engine stock figure and connect to EMU
2. EMU read data to do what ever you desire and connect to vvti GE
3. vvti GE OBD2 wires connect to EMU to read data only but not control the engine

also I thought the vvti GE ECU last plug is an immobilizer? I could be wrong.

let me know what you guys think...

Car sound awesome Turbo819

If you have a little time READ through this POST. It works but alot of Tuning is needed
http://my.is/forums/f114/aristo-swap...ogress-329091/

DR.TWEAK can make a HYBRID Harness to use your 2jzge vvti ECU and (Greddy E-Manage Ultimate) and you should have no problems with EMISSIONS. I did not want to go that route. PM or Give him a call.

I needed the Supra TT Fan Blades. It should be a the dealer by Tue - Wed
I also need to do the 12volt modification. I want to check with DR.Tweak to find out if my Fuel Pump ECU is the same as the 98 NA Supra. I think it should be the same because they both came with the 2jzge vvti engines. I don't want to do the 12 volt modification if I do need to.

So what Good with your Swap? You have not POSTED any updates to you THREAD

It was like Highway Robbery I ordered the Blade & three studs & Locking Nuts for the down Pipe $184.00. Any other time I would keep looking but I just want to take this thing for a spin. Enough waiting. So I had to Pay the Piper.

Good info TURBO819. I'll give him a buzz sometime this week about it, but the thing is mine is NOT vvti so this might get some interesting results, maybe not the one im looking for.

My 1998 sc300 also gets over 400 miles per gallon.

BTW, I'm contemplating this swap with a local mechanic. Any suggestions besides studying you and JeffTsai's posting like the bar exam?

thx in advance.

you mean 400 miles per tank? if so, that's still an incredible feat...if it's true.
