My oil pressure light came on shortly followed by a Rod Knock. I am thinking the Oil Pump failed leading to oil starvation leading to bearing failure. I am in the process of stripping the engine apart. Gazi came through on saturday morning (8/14/2010) to help me pull the motor and Donated a 96 SC300 2jzge engine just in case I need to replace the Crank Shaft & Rods.

Default Crank & Rod Bearing Pictures

A Few Pictures of the Crank & Rod Bearing.
You can see the damage to the rod bearing and scoring of the Crank Journals in the pictures. The plan is to reuse the 2jzgte Block.
1 • Hot Tank the Block
2 • Hone the Cylinders
3 • Deck the Block
Use the 2jzge Crank & Rods as they were in perfect shape when removed.
4 • Hot Tank the Crank & Rods
5 • Polish the Crank Journals.
6 • 2jzgte Block
7 • 2jzgte Pistons
8 • 2jzge Crank & Rods
Everything is at "Lab Machine" being worked on.
