He did a pretty good job.
I was thinking about reaching out to ya.
So catch me up. Your going with a 4.7?
Did something happen to the 1UZ?
Yep, the 4.7 sounded fun. LOL nothing happened to the 1uz, I should have left it alone.

Scott, this is a very inspiring build and a great source of inspiration for all SC members! Definitely helped me when I was doing the 6spd tunnel install.

Are you still driving the car with the 4.0, or have you taken it apart altogether?
I keep thinking the tundra 5.7 in the back of my head, but making power really isn't my problem right now. Getting everything to work together is where I'm focused.

Are you still in St Louis?

No, its apart, now just waiting on me to finish it. 5.7 hits the strut towers from what I understand.
I live in KS but I travel a lot, I am in Chicago atm but headed to peoria late morning.

I think boosting the heck out of the 4.7 or 4.0 is the easiest, quickest, and most reliable way. lol.

are you referring to the 3URFE?

I always thought the 2URGSE would be the ultimate swap for the SC..

the only G ported V engine made by toyota..

He Just wanted to beat us to it. LOL Does look like a tight fit.
I do like the sound of an SC570 TT :-)
Hey Scott if your going to be in chicagoland next weekend, My car is going to be at World Of Wheels. Chris (CMRacingonline.com, & ParkingGaraj.com) are sharing a booth, and asked to display my car. It's the 1st-3rd of March at the Rosemount convention center in Rosemont. (Near Ohare airport)
If you get a chance, stop by and say hello. Chris, and I should be there.
Same with the rest of club lexus, come say hello

Hey Steve how's it going?
I agree with you. Making power isn't really a problem on the UZ.
Don't know if I'd say reliable. I chased my share of bugs around mine :-(
The 5.7's are susposedly making 500+ through the auto on 5 PSI! Thats pretty cool :-)
That swap might be more of a pain then it's worth though. (throttle by wire n all)
