450. But I had multiple broken clips which quickly brought the price up to 600

Car is running good minus one issue. The number two turbo is not coming online. Crazy because the car feels good even on one. I am getting a cel at 3800ish rpm which makes sense, but I have been so busy I haven't even had time to check the code. More to follow...

Reading through these pages has made give some serious thought as to whether or not I should take on a project SC3, and just do a GTE swap. I've really been on the wall regarding the car, but I would get it for free. I think I may very well end up going this route, and following your lead. Absolutely a great job. Now just do a video, and post it up for everyone to see this thing run

What an incredible build, thanks for documentring and taking pics . I was thinking about a swap for sometime now and this just motivated me.

Did the Aristo engine have the TRC? I only ask this because someone is selling a similar setup that has the TRC and I was told by someone else that it was not compatible with a 92 because the motor was newer..

Yes, it has the trc sub throttle sensor and butterfly on the throttle body. It won't come with the trc ecu and my 92 sc didn't have traction control to start with. It's a non issue. You'll simply have an extra butterfly prior to the throttle butterfly that always remains fully open. Some guys remove it for various reasons but I didn't.

Thanks for the bump.
Pressure tank is bad. New one is cheap, I just haven't had the time to take off the intake mani and replace it. It's hard wired full twin 24/7 right now and I can break it loose on a straightaway at 60 miles an hour...in an AUTO! So I'm still having fun. Still have the code 42 CEL and tranny. I didn't solder yet, but I tried a temp splice behind the cluster with the pink vss wire and the red/blue output to ecu. No joy. But...there were two red/blue wires and I guessed. Any more input appreciated.

As a side note, rolling full time twins with a 4.27 differential doesn't suffer from the lag that you get on a tt diff.

Default Long delayed update

Over a year on the car with the swap..just wanted to update things.

Engine still runs like a dream. I was willing to accept a little more cockpit noise given the TT engine mounts and a downpipe, but I still can barely hear the engine running fully warm with the windows up. 650RPM solid.

The Turbo pressure tank was actually never bad. Took me a LONG time but I traced the issue to the hard line pressure feed that sits right at the back of the engine. The two pipe small diameter thing that connect the pressure tank to the passenger side of the engine. One of the holes was completely clogged. I isolated that pipe and blew 60 psi into it until it finally popped. Clean as a whistle and fully sequential and fully loving it. The #1 does seem to run out of beans around 3000-3600 rpm but I think that might be due to my differential. I'm still running 4.07 with the Aristo tranny (which it was not made for) so my uneducated guess is that I take the load off the engine earlier than a 3.73 would. When #2 kicks in around 39-4000 it's game on again.

Only issue still naggin is a 42 and 87 Transmission DTC code. I know what the 42 code is but I haven't found a single person that can tell me what an 87 transmission code is. Not in the book.

Finally have some pictures to post with the TT brakes on the car. Enjoy.
Questions if you got em.
