Yepper, looking good man. Are you still running the spacers up front to clear the calipers? I love those wheels BTW.

Still running 3mm spacers. Haven't had the guts yet to grind the calipers. The wheels look ok but the quality of Jic wheels is not that great. Thanks.

It looks like you used the PS pump from the aristo. Did you have to make any extra lines tomake it work? Did you do away with the PS cooler all together and just loop the lines?

How is the automatic trans holding up? Does it slip at all, does it shift quickly?

Are you running 550cc injectors with the aristo ecu or the 440's

Thanks!

Yes , aristo pump. I deleted the cooling loop that goes under the engine but kept the cooler loop in the nose of the car. Could be problematic with an fmic. I did make a short line directly from the pump to the rack (shown in the thread)

How is the automatic trans holding up? Does it slip at all, does it shift quickly? Runs great and shifts great. Could only be better w a getrag.

440's. 550's would be even better w/ the resistor pack.

Thanks![/QUOTE]

Thanks for the quick reply.

Do you happen to recall the fitting sizes for the ps line. Is that a high pressure line? Is this something I can pick up at a speed shop?

Good to hear about the automatic. Did you change all the trans fluid with toyota specific auto fluid, or just drain the pan and refill a few quarts?

How much boost are you able to run with the hybrid twins and 440cc injectors? Have you researched if the jdm ecu can handle 550cc injectors with a tt us resistor pack, or would a piggyback system like a vpc or afc be needed to tune in the larger injectors.

Do you recall if you used the na o2 sensors for the gte motor or did you just use the sensors that came with the aristo clip

Default Still running strong

Update since it's been a while.

Still my daily driver and still running very strong. Pull gets a little thin at about 3100 RPM and then feeds in again at 4000 hard. I couldn't be happier with this motor.

Been lazy for about a year or so, but I'm going to start looking at a new exhaust, finally do the rear suspension with hypercoils and bilsteins and grind my calipers down (to get rid of the 3mm spacers).

I will say this: if you spend a year and a half building a motor from the ground up...replace EVERYTHING. The two things I transfered from my old motor are the only two things that have given me problems. Alternator (new now)/ A/C Compressor (Still sweating profusely).

SC 4 ever

Update. Car is currently getting new exhaust. She will finally breathe properly.

Also took the opportunity to install factory supra transmission cooler hard lines, grind the calipers and put new tires on the front.

FYI- I am extremely happy with the continental ultra sport contact DWS tires. They are at least three times better than the Goodyear F1 all-seasons. Front-235/40/18 on 8.5 inch wheels. The 245's rubbed a bit with 38mm offset.

Thanks man. I'm getting the bug to start tinkering again. Last time, tinkering was a 10,000 dollar adventure.

Will be glad to.
