Default Engine is going in next weekend

I've finally decided to put the engine in next weekend. Lots of pics to be taken.

I'm getting an SC400 Hydraulic Cooler as my new power steering cooler and here is my new high pressure power steering hose. I can't take credit for the idea, but this is one solid piece of gear.

you should just wait and get a r154 then swap. You've had the engine this long, whats the rush. It'll be a pain removing the engine/tranny to put a new tranny in later. (unless you have a lift)

No way. I've droped the tranny before in the sc and the supra all by myself with the car on jack stands and just basic tools. The R154 is way heavier though. Took about 6 hours to drop it and put it back in. It can be done.

Agreed. These cars are not bad with the motor in the car. Just need a couple socket swivels and extensions.

Huge props for Stu Hagen and the awesome rebuilt stock twins I just got. They look spankin brand new.

The holdup right now is the rear main seal. I put the new one in, but managed to dent it a little bit. It looks ok, but I'm not going to chance it. Getting a new one and putting it in correctly.
Yes this is one of those GREAT GREAT builds on Club Lexus.

Thanks Turbo 819 for the kind words. It's been a long time coming, but the GE engine finally came out last Sun. I've got the wiring harness on and the engine complete. I've had to buy so many ancillary hoses to be happy. The toyota OEM rubber for the turbo piping is so money. I've tried to use replacement stuff for the heater hose, BOV piping and water piping and just ended up getting OEM anyway. I found a coil pack connector that Dr. Tweak forgot I guess. I'll fix it with the engine in, but the little things are a pain. I feel like I'm finally getting to the end game. Pics shortly....

Thank you. I feel like it'll be worth it, but I can assure you it's a lot more work. Stu Hagen (the twins king) in Washington State sold me the upgrades. I'll get 150.00 for my US cores if I ever get around to sending them. He's on Supraforums.

Default OK. Big update with LOTS of pics...some humor too

Just some chronological stuff of the GE engine coming out for anyone who cares to follow. Questions welcome cause I've dealt with a lot of little stuff that you don't think about.
