Yes, we'd be installing the ESS system. Dinan is a bit too much $$ for what you get, though it is Dinan. I've done a fairly high HP 7m build, and I'm probably going to be doing a 500-600 hp 1j build (though, I haven't ruled out S/C the 1uz yet), but I wanted to do something different that's not really EVER seen. I think this fits the bill

Map Ecu2 is wired and mounted. The shifter plate is done- I just used some nasty scrap that I had laying around, fipg'ed it and bolted it in. I'm kinda putting off doing the shifter's cover plate because it's a little more complicated- lots of flush-mount rivets and junk.

Do I just cut the wires for the airbag to get the new wheel in? Do I need to resistor anything? I don't really care about an airbag light- just that it's done correctly.

I put a pic up on my FB-me chillin in the tranny tunnel putting in the flywheel bolts. Someone pointed out that I had a problem- look at the pic and see if you can figure out what was f'ed up. It set me back a bit. And I took this pic of the tranny as soon as it came off the pallet. I'm soooo excited! I love it!

Lol!! Fail! How dirty do you think I get just torquing down flexplate bolts?! Here you go- a horrible pic of me with a clear shot of my palm-let it assuage your doubts

a ton of work, very painful & good luck

I drove 2 FDs in college was on the rx7club as snook and surgemonster, my roomate a tt supra. both moved to vettes now. Just picked up the sc and cleaning it up in and out perfect before I move on to turbo, but its right around the corner.

I see a lot of people switch to a ijz or 2gte when they want turbo instead of na-t, I guess if its so extreme and you are changing everything around the engine like you did theres no bother switching to a turbo block besides the oil squirters and some other details?
