i don't know who to be more jealous of: you for your car or your husband for his wife.

Very nice project and it looks like you're going to have a very fun toy coming out of this. The work isn't always fun but it's more than worth it in the end.

edit: also, where can i find a pack of welding monkeys? that sounds fun

[QUOTE=hyjaxx;4364158] web 264 custom grind cams (modeled after HKS, I believe)

Yes, you are correct the Intake side is a HKS and the exhaust side was made by WEB cams! I also have these cams in my car that I got from David through Nero and you'll be real happy with the numbers!!!

Good luck with your build!!

I'm sure you'll see it on the 15th or 16th. I'm heading down to see David and we're bringing both the SC and the FD. I have to hit Sean up again so I'll probably see you there. I'd love to check out your build. As for the TH400- the main reason I decided to go with that over the powerglide is that it's a bit easier to keep cool for long-distance driving. I'm going to hit Mahdavi up and buy whatever he tells me to (he's a wealth of knowledge and gives it out freely). I wish I could just go with the R154 but for my own peace of mind I want something a bit more bulletproof so if I decide to stroke it or throw a big shot of nitrous on- I know it'll handle it. How'd you get home so early? I didn't think the guys were getting back until later on today.

Heck I was happy with his numbers when he was running them! My machinist said they were nice too. High hopes for this thing. Now if I can only find a vband for the precision that actually fits!

It sounds like something I need to look into a bit more. Find someone who's running one and see what they have to say. The price on that is a million times better than any of the other builts out there. And the one year unlimited mile warranty they give you is nice too.

Default Update

Did some work on the fuel system! Milled out the lower intake runners for the 85lb domestic Bosch superblues. Need to pick up some argon so we can weld the injector bungs into place. Atf shipped these bungs out and I got them two days after we ordered them- I was impressed. Fuel rail done too- total cost $20 (Ross machine rail stock). I decided to go with these over direct drop-in's because I could only find them up to 750cc and I wanted to eek out a little more. Hopefully it'll be 100% done tomorrow and I'll have more pics to post.
