after a week of CAREFUL driving, full front bumper clear bra wrap was done today. now i feel safe driving around, yay!

quick question: is it easy to get a clear bra wrap on aftermarket front bumper? coz i know that most clear bra installers have templates they use to cut the wrap for hood, oem front bumper, etc...but the jd kit has different curves and such...i assume your installer has to measure the wrap manually?

it's up to how good the shop is. a good shop don't really care about the pre-cut that much anymore, they can do custom cut any day. i went to aerotect, pretty much one of the best here in socal. they basically simple use a big piece to wrap around my bumper and then custom cut and install the clear bra there.

same when they did the install on my sc430 and ls460l body kits

knock offs are just that, copy of originals. company A designs and makes their own car parts, for example body kits. company B does NOTHING except making a mold of originals and make the "same" kit, violating copyrights and selling them off with no shame. that's knock offs

examples are everywhere, unfortunately even here on CL. at least one of our vendors are openly selling knock offs
