ive talked to Dan twice now and i think he's covered everything. he was extremely helpful so this swap hopefully will be a breeze. the engines sitting in my garage right now in pieces getting cleaned and im replacing all of the seals and gaskets and trying to decide exactly what i want to do with it as far as internal work. i ordered an LS6 valley cover which should be in tomorrow so i get to take a dremel/cut-off wheel to my block when i get off work tomorrow which should be exciting lol.

Brought the GS to the SF Autoshow last week... it'll be there until Wed. I think Glenn's GS is there also RMMGS4?

Maybe we'll catch each other on roll out Wednesday night?

it really just depends on how long it takes to get everything together. im having trouble getting my hands on a few odds and ends that my motor didnt come with like misc brackets and stuff like that. im trying to find some ls6 heads with the lightweight valves from an 02-04 z06...thats not going to well either lol. last time i checked, the GTO oil pan was on back order so thats kinda holding me up. i work at a chevy dealer so in an effort to save money im trying to take advantage of my awesome discount so im waiting for us to get stuff in rather than going ahead and getting everything i need off the internet. i should be ready to go when spring rolls around. even if i had everything together right now, theres no way im gonna be caught dead working on this thing in the cold *** garage lol.
