What ECU will you be using? Painless? GM? Also, how do you plan to integrate into the factory wiring for accessories, etc?
I will be using the factory GM ECM for engine management with EFI Live or HPTuners. I will run the accessories off of the stock Lexus ECU's. The LS motors are easy this way.

i know i asked in the other thread, but can you elaborate on this? are there 2 different harness's in the GS? or does the lsx have its own seperate engine harness?

It's just like any other engine swap - you will need to splice in the correct wires for ignition etc from the GM ECM harness to your Lexus harness. It's much simpler since this is a GM harness... not as crazy as the million signals that is needed to wire up a Japanese/Euro motor to start. There are people that can do this for you just send them your ECM/GM Harness and donor car harness and it shall be done.
ok gotcha, i see what your saying. i thought there was just something specific to the lexus harness that coincided with the gm harness. i havent ever messed with either harness so this is all greek to me lol

Yah no worries man I was the same way when I first started building cars Don't worry I'll have most if not all the info about what is needed to do this but DGR is becoming a vendor soon so they'll be able to answer any and all questions with no issues like I had with the first thread about the mount kit.

I can't be to salesy but I will answer as simple as possible... yes they will work fine the mounts are made so the motor can move 1-3" for most Lexus applications using the stock crossmember. We talked about it today and we'll likey have a universal tranny crossmember because so many people are interested in this swap.

Thanks man! No doubt there will be a video of the first start up! Shouldn't be too far off since the car has to be done/functional for alignment/tuning by the second week of July.
