In my experience with the Shine kit, I've found that fitting it is not that bad.
It requires a little filling around the marker lights on the bumper to make it look perfect, some of the bonding seams need to be filled and the bumpers need to be block sanded, primered and reblock sanded to get rid of the fiberglass waves. I am super **** about body and paint stuff. Close enough isn't good enough. The mold is the exact same mold that the real AC kit comes out of.
Where the replica kit really Shines, (pun intended) is in the benefit of this material being very flexible. That's the reason I went with it over the Real AC kit. One tap on the AC kit and your day is ruined.
Also to lay any rumors to rest, I have my shine kit installed with both aluminum bumper reinforcements AND styrofoam bumper absorbers. They install just like factory!

We washed and brushed out most of the residue but we're going to wait until the paint cures after 30-60 days before we can polish and wax it with Autoglym. My friend is a professional detailer
Some slightly better pictures
I might have to re-modify my exhaust for the second time since it rattles against the rear took hook under the car. I would have to go to a real professional exhaust shop to hack it up in order to keep it in the current position.
As far as body work goes, I don't know the cost difference of installing this or the real AC one. The minute you mention about an Aftermarket kit, the shop would try to make money and charge you extra. There were some fitment issues such as sideskirt fitment and Driver side highbeams.
I think the price difference between this and the real AC kit is a little more than $400. It is more like $500 out the door if it is a Group Buy, whenever that is.
More like 15mm front and back. I can't do anything more than that with my mild fender roll, 235 & 265 tires, and very little negative camber. Personally, I don't like stretching tires nor extreme camber.

How much extra did it cost to fix it so if fit properly? Reason I'm asking is that a lot of people claimed this kit would fit better than actual AC Kit which was only cost $400 more. Not trying to start anything but just saying between buying this kit and getting it to fit properly could have probably got the actual AC Kit which some have claimed has fitment issues that I'm yet to see.
