SC300FIVESPD One Day Gte swap and Ongoing Build..
hey guys, i have been super busy and have not been really on here posting or making threads much. thought id wake it up by posting my 2jzgte one day swap... i had the thread on another site but haven't been on CL in a while.
so enjoy!

The swap was started at 8:30a, 8:32 to be precise that's when the first two pics were taken. By 11 basically, the old engine was out and the tranny was bolted up to the gte waiting for engine mounts. at exactly 1:03pm the engine was in with both the tranny and the engine bolted up. PS: car is on jackstands that's why its high off the ground, notice tires not touching the ground.... and yes my tires all have wires sticking out of them. its been over a year with these tires its their time to go...

Wow, you guys are all so damn talented, doing these swaps in your garage.
Out of curiousity, did you replace anything on the new GTE motor? Personally if it was me, I would do a 90k service - seals, timing belt, water pump, etc -on it while it is outside of the car just for the peace of mind.
Did you get the harness made or did you guys do that yourself too?
I would love to do this one day after my body work

Thank you guys! the w58 is gonna come out soon so when i have money, keep an eye out for insane fast r154 swap as well.
it was just me with one friend, he was just handing me tools everyone else just showed up when it was already done, one jay helped put harness through the firewall....... this is one of like 10 engine swaps i have ever done in my garage, along with 2 body swaps.
