ahhyes300's Anthracite 96' NA-T Build progress
Well, where do I begin. I bought my SC300 in late October of 2007, black w/ black interior, automatic, and other than the "Sears bling bling" 17's, it was bone stock. It was a great running car, but the auto and oxidized paint weren't exactly what I wanted, so I was going to walk, but I ended up falling in love with the very good condition black interior.
Plans changed a couple times, and the car went through different rims about three times. Then in summer 2008 I made plans to sell it so that I could live out my 2JZ dreams in my IS300. To spruce up the SC for autotrader pics, I installed a set of SSR D5R's from a friend...and that's when I fell in love . All of my money immediately started going to turbocharging the SC, and the rest is history.
All work was done by myself and basically two or three friends. Most notably my friend Nick who painted the car and my buddy Rick Bowers who let me use his shop tools and advice.

more pictures......
I know there are wires hanging by my tranny that used to hook up to the auto, Lol. Pics were taken when I just finished.
I'm not a photographer by any means, but I will update this thread with some better pics in the next few weeks. Let me know what you guys think.

clean *** build bro but got a question why did you use the factory TB on the intake wouldnt like a 80 or 90mm one be better and look a bit cleaner? Also now that you have a side mount intake you can use the TT valve covers. Either way car is clean really like the color

Thanks for the comments everyone. I feel like my hard work is paying off.
I originally had plans to use a 90mm Q45 throttle body, but I was worried about tuning since all I have for the time being is an SAFC2. The factory throttle body can support pretty good power levels, and I have two of them, so I will likely have the other one chromed because mine is ugly.
As far as the valve covers go, The na's are staying. They may look odd, but I'm a big supporter of Na-t, therefore I want everyone to know that this is the factory motor. I even retained the "2JZ-GE" decal on the side of the belt cover.

This is a good example that an SC300 don't have to be slammed/ have stretched out tires / have a horrible body kit in order to be clean
Function > Form
Awesome build man, looks super clean! I love the lower front/ high rear stance!
