fortifying that chevy block/head is cool and all, but it's still a downgrade when you compare all the work/money you've put into that small block....to a 2jz-ge na-T you could have built for less money, and have just about as much HP, and a more reliable car on top of it. The amount of boost a stock 2jz-ge can handle without even needing to fortify the bottom end is reason alone not to swap a small block v8 and just boost the 2j.

But i know youre trying to do something different, i just dont think its worth the money.

GL w/ your build regardless.

Don't forget to save up for a supercharger. Cheers to someone doing something different, there's life in the old bird yet.

Incase neither one of you noticed, there is no 2JZ in the car for him to boost or swap as your saying ..therefore, why not do something different? and if he already had the engine and trans, might as well work with it right?

can always make your own brackets. My friend had a Jetta and the seat he bought sat too low, so we just fabbed up some brackets, drilled some holes, screwed them down to the chassis, bolted the chair to the brackets and called it a day, mind you his seat can't slide but he didn't care lol since he was the only one who drove it anyway
