Just curious, why did you choose a log style turbo manifold?

I chose a cast manifold because I "heard" they help spool the turbo a little quicker. Ive never used a cast, so I figured Id give it try.

where'd you hear that from? nah, manifold material dosen't make any difference in regards to spool up. they are just more heavy/durable/reliable thats why stock turbo engines come with cast manis.

btw, your build is lookin great.
what are your rebuild plans for the 154? you should have the internals fortified with cyrogenics. all your syncros/gears, etc.

So heres where I am.....

Motor and tranny is in. Tranny was rebuilt with Marlin parts. This past week Ive ran all my fuel lines and welded bulk heads into the bottom of the fuel tank. I then ran the lines inside for dual pumps.

Tonight I finally started too install my Alpine double din....I really like how it turned out.

Now Im waiting for the fuel pumps, order the driveshaft and adapter. Harness gets dropped off tomorrow too get work done.

Enjoy the pics
