Default My LS400 Rebuilt Project. Lots of pics.

I'm just sharing my current project I've been working on. I'm in a process of doing a rebuilt of 1uz motor to be swap into my 93 LS400 that have been broken down. I'm also adding a Bullet M90 supercharger kit with it too.
My Worklog that I will update often.

This is the final product of how it should be. I hope.

Now to start. This is what she look like right now. On jack stands.

I got a free medium mileage motor from my friend David(Lextreme). It's a little burn but the internal is in great shape. That is all I need since I'm doing almost full rebuilt.

Damm, now that's badass!!! If you don't mind me asking. How much did it cost you for the supercharger set-up? I wish I had the money to do something like that to my LS... Keep up updated when you can!!

Thanks. I'm taking things slow. I want to built it right the first time.

I'm looking around 75-80rwhp increase at 6psi of boost. I higher boost pulley and fuel will go in later down the road. I'm now currently trying a find the right place to customize a set of headers for this set up. IMF and SS headers does not fit properly in the LS engine bay. So I'm doing a complete custom headers.
Transmission is being rebuilt with high performance internals parts. Also, the Torque convert is being rework with a bit higher Stall speed.
Hopefully, all this will give me at least 250rwhp for now. I know it's pretty mild. But I want to be reliable as it was a stock new car.

The complete kit from Bulletcars in Australia.
http://bulletcars.com/superchargers/...er-system.html
Price is $5950AUD. So that is roughly about $5345USD + $300/400 for shipping. But I got a little bit of discount with a help of my friend Lextreme.

That's sweet James! I remember this car, it's a 93 I think. It's one of my favorite first gens on CL. The previous owner was a member here a few years ago. It looked sick with the Brabus wheels on it. I'm also interested in the price of this kit. Are you considering the stroker kit with lower compression from Lextreme? This would be a beast with some more boost and displacement. Keep up the good work bro, it looks like you are going to get this done rather quickly.

Really nice looking build! good job on that melted down motor! sounds like a good plan to get it running nice on low boost, keep everything from blowing up, 250rwhp would be strong! look forward to more pics!

Yes you are right. I purchase this car from "Atsou" on this forum a while back. Now the original motor have over 235k miles and it gave out. It now have a nice set of wheels waiting for it .
You should contact Lextreme. He might be able to get you some deals with this Supercharger it.
I'm was orginally planing a 4.7 Liter iron block Turbo setup for this project. But I change to do a Vip Style with mild power setup instead.
