Runs like a top. There is no smoke on start up or anything (because of new valve seals). Its so nice to have a car that runs so well. The electronics are great. No bleeding on climate control or anything. The things that do need adressing are the temp gauge needle doesnt have a light, there are 1 or 2 lights out in the climate control unit, and there is a crack in the sunroof....but other than that everything works and everything is in pristine condition. I also need to refill the AC, because I don't think Lexus filled it back up when they finished the engine overhaul. Transmission fluid is going to get changed, and im going to change the oil asap. I really don't have any time and its making me angry!!!! I want to get all of the parts swapped over, but its taking FOREVER!

damn that is an insanely clean interior. and that overhaul list will be helpful for when i maybe tear my engine down for a rebuild. thanks

Head replacement doesnt = engine overhaul......You still have a 200k+ bottom end.

Rods crank and pistons, yes. Gaskets, no. Generally you dont have a problem from rods and pistions.

I guess I might as well update just a little while im here. I got the new headlight in because one of them was leaking BADLY. It looks a lot better and I can finally see out of both headlights now!
I tired to get the SSR's off of my old car, unfortunatly I broke the key that takes my lug nuts off so im waiting for the epoxy to dry. I can get them off with a regular socket, however the lug just gets stuck inside and they are hard as HELL to get out! Definatly got 2 blood blisters in the process haha.
Tomorrow I won't get anything done, however Friday, I will be getting my radiator done. I need to go to Toyota and get some Toyota Red coolant for the job. Might try to get coilovers on as well. Would really like to, but I don't know how much time ill have.
I also need to take some pics at some point...
I hate not having any time!!! It sucks!

Bearing clearences, wrist pins, piston rings, and cylinder wall wear count for something.....just something to keep in mind since your shooting for 500hp......I do this all day every day.

On a side note, I got my SSR's on today, and took the brakes off of the old car. I am going to TRY to get them on tomorrow. I would like to paint them to get them good looking, but I need the little Supra sticker...I dont really know where to get one. haha. I hate not having time. I have two things to do tomorrow. Get new brakes on, and change radiator and put in fans.

Got a little bit done today. Finally got the hideous wheels off. Also switched the brakes later on in the day. My back is killing me haha. I think the car looks good, obviously it needs to be slammed. Its comming, just got to find some time to get the old shell to my friends house so I can get it on the lift and get all of the coilovers off. This is definatly a fun project for me.
I also threw on the 6 speed shift ****. Its a weighted **** and I like it A LOT more than the crappy 5 speed shift ****. I dont claim my car has a 6 speed. I dont need 6 speeds again haha.
