Talking Carfreak's CLEAN SC300 5 speed build shooting for 500WHP+

Hey guys, so I posted in my other thread that I parted out my other car. I am still selling parts off of it, but the motor and trans are GONE and with the money I picked up this GEM!!! I cannot believe how CLEAN this car is! I love it so much! I got a good deal on it and its in GREAT condition.

Little background on the car:
2 Owner car - I am the 3rd owner. First owner owned it for 212K miles Second owner bought the car to sell. He had it for a whole 5K.

The reason the car was sold - Lady driven - wasn't watching temp gauge, check engine light came on, she turned it off, and it wouldn't start again. Took it to Lexus for repairs. Severly warped the head, and it was all sent off to be machined and fixed. As a rental, they gave her an RX, which ended up making them a sale on a RX. She liked the RX for the AWD and in WI they have a lot of snow, so the car was good for her.

The engine was COMPLETELY overhauled by Lexus. Totaling over 6K in repairs!!!!!!! Total documentation of the overhaul and vehicle history report.

The car looks like it has maybe 2K on it. I simply cannot believe the shape this car is in. I got it for a great deal and I love the car so much. It was definatly a stealership *****, which works out well for me! Anyways...on to the fun stuff!!!

Build plans:
AEM EMS full standalone tuned by Carma Performance in Nashville, TN
Single turbo - not too sure with who I am going with
Standard manifold
Tial wastegate
Apex or Tial BOV
Large injectors
Large FMIC
FFIM - if money is there - probably won't be.
Cometic head gasket - shooting myself in the foot for selling the one I had
LSD
misc odds and ends

Parts already have to put on:
-Stance GR+ pro coilovers 18K front 10K rears
-Traction rods
-Subframe bushings
-Fluidine radiator
-Samco Sport radiator hoses
-SSR GT03's
-Volt meter and water temp gauge
-Battery Relocation - not too sure if going to use or not
-Walbro 225lph Fuel pump
-Apexi exhaust
-Supra TT brakes

I cannot wait to get this car going a little better. The stock brakes are KILLING me! I cannot believe people acutally use these to stop this BIG CAR! I HIGHLY recommend supra TT brakes. World of difference honestly.

Pic's - not taken by me, im trying to find some time to take some nice pics of the car...

NOT CRACKED DOOR PANELS FTW!!!!!!!

I am shooting for 500whp+ anything more will just be more fun!

Thanks man. I only intend to keep it clean. Nothing will be halfassed on this car. I want to make it super clean. Its going to take me a while to boost it anyways. Shooting for end of summer.

That's almost unbelieviable, 212k with that interior? You got prime pickings for a project car there, I can't wait to see this build unfold, definatly one to admire.

with that kind of a "decisive" parts list all i can say is good luck.

hope you do all your research to make it reliable.

btw sell the volt gauge and get some gauges that matter. water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, egt, and boost.

The reason its so "decisive" is because I already have all of these parts. Its not something im peicing together quite yet. I already have all of these parts from my previous boosted SC.

As for the gauges, I will sell the Volt meter when it comes closer time to boosting. For the time being - since I already have it - might as well use it. Definatly need to get a water temp gauge. I don't like non percise stock gauges haha.

Thanks for the input!

Jadu - Definatly man, I really DO NOT want to rush this. There is no need to. I have found its the build thats more fun than actually having a finished product. That is why I get so bored with my cars, and why I have owned so many. I get bored quickly. I have a good feeling that wont be the case with this one! Definatly plan on doing it right the first time.

tmf2004 - Thanks man, I appreciate the comment. I love this car already. I don't see myself giving this one up - of course I say that a lot....haha

Snook - In my opinion, yes. I think the car is in prestine condition. I need to go condition the leather before the summer comes and cracks or rips it. I would cry. Definatly really excited about the project. I love cars and I have a feeling this one is going to be no exception!
