Rick,

The IS-F is looking great man, I am so busy working that I rarely get time to read over the forums but I caught this thread and took me a second before I saw that plate realized whose ride I was checking out. As always, never a disappointment.

Long time no talk phluid!

thanks for the words, this car is the hardest one to mod with virtually no aftermarket support but it's getting there.

At least now the car is presentable as a daily driver

Did some High Speed testing with the diffuser and glad to say it is 170mph safe. Showed how nice it looks to a viper

WOw you aren't kidding your car was FAST! What mods do you have that net 500hp???

thanks for reporting back

I'm happy my diffuser stays put at jaunts up to 150mph for short bursts! This car is definitely quick for such a heavy ride. We caught a Audi R8 (v8 model) by surprise and left him in the dust - took him like 5 seconds to catch up and we both stopped at the light to chat. Those cars sound pretty mean with a Milltek exhaust.

Hah, I would def say it is more than presentable.. I started a new business and all my finances go there which leaves me slumming when it comes to a car at the moment, hopefully it won't be long before I get to mod a car again. I will keep an eye out on your thread, see how long you keep this project around. At least you always finish yours. I had switched to an lx470 for a while and it was great but I never did any mods to it.

I'm running KWV3's with dampening at 10 clicks from soft. The rebound is left stock since usually there's no reason to mess with it. The drop is pretty obvious visually. I'm lucky to have the perfect offset rims/tires so no matter how low I go, it doesn't rub the fenders.

In it's current state, I can carry 6 people total in the car and it still drives just find in the city!

phluid: Glad to hear but for me this car is 100% finished as it does everything I want it to do perfectly My only two gripes with this car are:

a) Small trunk, no fold down rear seats
b) Lack of middle seat for a baby seat

As of right now the car just sits at our shop so I'm debating to sell it for a GTS or maybe find someone who wants to trade cars perhaps....

Well I got bored so played with some matte black vinyl - not totally sure if this look is what I want but it does have the Audi / GTR "big mouth" front end look....

Opinions/criticism?

BEFORE (seems cleaner to me)

AFTER (looks meaner especially at night)

I think you have to pull it outwards some more...

See my Matte Clear Bra....

Done by Aerotect.

Creative idea but not feeling it at all. Maybe try what Joe Z said but still not sure it will work.

Now that looks better. Wish there's an Aerotect out in the midwest...

^PurduePete - yea I wasn't sure either but that's the good thing about vinyl, can easily be removed or replaced

JoeZ: Seems we really do think alike - never even realized you did the same thing but in a more subtle effect until you posted that picture again. I actually saw your picture but my eyes were only drawn to your hood the first time. I like the more gentle transition in yours - not sure if black / white will do it but it sorta reminds me of a black nosed penguin! haha

thanks for all the input!

I like the before version.

Overall I have to say your white/yellow combo looks absolutely sick. You've made me a believer in that combo. It is now tied for my favorite along with the classic black/red.
